• If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total
• If cancelling 31 days before arrival, forfeit 10% of the deposit
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
The balance of the accommodation can be settled on arrival at the hotel.
If paying with a credit card, the card used to make the online booking needs to be presented at check-in. A copy of the card holders' ID/ passport is required on arrival.
All EFT payments must be made within 12 hours of the booking being made and a proof of payment e-mailed to reservations@pumulabeachhotel.co.za.
Please use your booking number as your reference when making the payment.
Please note the hotel has the right to allocate a different room type with a lower guest capacity if a booking is made for fewer guests than the room type selected is advertised and setup to usually accommodate.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
At Pumula Beach hotel, we are not keen on billing people for not staying with us. We will therefore rarely charge 100% cancellation fees. This will be on a case to case basis.
Unfortunately, cancellation costs to the hotel are as much a reality as taking out travel insurance will be for you, our guest. We strongly advise that guests booking hotel accommodation, especially over peak periods, consider travel insurance to be covered for any unforeseen circumstances or emergencies that may affect your stay with us.
DINING VISITORS
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be booked for patrons coming in for a meal that are not staying at the hotel, but a booking must be made directly with the hotel prior to arrival. Please note that dining visitors are welcome at the hotel's discretion and is occupancy dependent.

WEATHER
- The weather is at its warmest from November–February.
- Temperatures remain warm all year, with the driest and coolest periods being June–August.
- Best time for the beach if you like to surf is winter as we have the best winter swells.
- Sea temperatures are warm in June and the weather is dry and warm in the daytime.
- The best beach weather is from December - March.

DIRECTIONS
FROM DURBAN
Take the N2 South and take the Hibberdene R102 exit. Turn left at the bottom of this ramp. Continue for about 6 km, passing through the town of Hibberdene on your left and a set of traffic lights.
After you cross over the Mzumbe River, take the Umzumbe/Fairview Mission turnoff, and follow the Pumula Beach Hotel signs from there.
FROM JOHANNESBURG
Get onto the N17 in Doornfontein 92-Ir, Johannesburg South from Von Wielligh Street and Wemmer Pan Road. Follow the N3 and N2 to R102 in Mnamfu. Take exit 72 from the N2. Follow the R102 to your destination in Umzumbe, Hibberdene.
FROM THE SOUTH
From the South, take the N2 North and take the St. Faiths / Umtentweni R102 exit. Turn right at the ramp towards Umtentweni and turn left at the traffic lights towards Hibberdene. Continue for about 15 km, and after the Intshambili River bridge, turn right into Umzumbe and follow the Pumula Beach Hotel signs from there.
